Jill (Playmates) and Teddy Ruxpin (Yes! Entertainment)

So, I wanted to make a blog post about this because I was bored. It is about my two favorite toys currently, which is Jill from Playmates, and the reissue of Teddy Ruxpin from Yes! Entertainment. Teddy released in 1998, while Jill Released in 1987. Jill is big sister of Corky and Cricket (Two of my other favorite toys too), and she is 13, Teddy Ruxpin is 16 according to the sources.

Why do I love Jill? Because she has an awesome features like she can move her head, eyes, and arms, and she can move her mouth and blink her eyes too. However she plays automatically which I don't like, but her volume is adjustable too. I also am not a fan of the prices of Jill, but nonetheless she is awesome looking, a bit creepy face (I mean it was the 1980s tech wasn't the most advanced), but cool voice recognition and stories too. She is very impressive.

Why do I love 1998 Teddy? Because he is the G.O.A.T of Teddy Ruxpin remakes, and has advanced stuff. He only uses one motor for both the eyes and mouth, but that's impressive because he can also jaw wobble (a thing some singers do when the vibrato is strong by slightly moving their jaw up and down), and it looks really real and impressively done, just like the sync when he talks mostly too. He also has a Video Pack, which is literally the best usage of the VHS toy technology I've ever seen, better than what TV Teddy and Smarty Bear did (And TV Teddy was also by the same company, called Yes! Entertainment) and I also loved how he reacted to his show like he was alive and just came back from the studio! I wish he did have his computer pack though, as one time I thought there was a video about it, but it probably was a dream that hasn't been forgotten. I also love the change in design, as he wore a red shirt with a yellow stripe (or belt? I don't know), with a yellow collar and blue, comfy pants. He also had sort of darker brown fur than his versions beforehand, like Worlds of Wonder's Teddy Ruxpin had a hazelnut brown fur, and same with Playskool's, while Yes! Entertainment's Teddy Ruxpin has a dark brown, almost like the one humans have (no racism, just saying that the skin looked similar), but fuzzy and soft!

So yeah, my explaining of the opinions are Jill and Teddy (1998) are done!
